Annapurna Ghorepani Muktinath Trek

1. 01

   Day 1 · Arrival in Kathmandu

   On arrival at Kathmandu airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

   Day 2 · Flight to Pokhara and trek to Deurali

   We take our early morning flight to Pokhara and then start our trek to Phedi. We walk uphill to reach Gurung village called Dhampus where we stop for lunch. After lunch, we climb gradually through the forest area to Deurali via Pothana. Deurali allows you to observe the whole Annapurna ranges and Pokhara valley along with mount Machhapuchhre.

   Day 3 · Trek to Ghandruk

   Having our breakfast early morning, we walk uphill to reach Ghandruk and pass by small villages. Ghandruk is the second largest Gurung settlement in Nepal which comprises of neatly terraced fields. At Ghandruk, you will have the opportunity to directly interact with the local people.

   Day 4 · Trek to Tadapani

   2,300 m

   After taking our early morning breakfast, we move uphill eyeing on the views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna and more peaks from the ridgeline. We then cross a bridge and reach Bhainsekharka that has around 5 to 6 teahouses. Having our lunch here, we move past rhododendron forest and reach Tadapani, a small Magar village.

   Day 5 · Tadapani to Ghorepani

   2,800 m

   From Tadapani, we move to Ghorepani. The way to Ghorepani is covered with stunning waterfall views and small wild animals and birds. The village is also a settlement of Gurung community which is big and the meaning of the name refers to the place where horses are given water to drink.

6. 06

   Day 6 · Rest day at Ghorepani

   Today, we explore around Ghorepani. Early morning we climb uphill to reach Poon Hill. We visit Poon Hill to observe an early morning sunrise which is at the height of 3210m. The place offers mesmerizing views of Tukuche, Nilgiri, Annapurna, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Dhaulagiri and more other peaks. We then return back to Ghorepani and explore the village which facilitates you with internet connection, café and more facilities. During spring, beautiful rhododendron flowers blossoming all over forest is very appealing to observe.
