The proprietor and Managing Director of the company. Arjun has many years of experience in field operations, having worked for about 21 to 22 years with various trekking companies as a trek guide and trek leader. He still looks after almost all work related to field operations and staff assignments, and has been involved in this field since the very beginning of his career in tourism.
Bhala Karki
Guide
A young bachelor's degree holder from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, Bhala has been a professional trekking guide for the last 8 to 9 years and has covered almost every part of Nepal's trekking trails. He has climbed Island Peak and holds basic and advanced climbing training certificates from the Khumbu Climbing Centre.
Deepak Karki
Guide
Deepak has about 16 to 17 years of experience as a trekking guide with different companies. A trained guide who speaks good English, he has trekked in almost all the trekking areas of Nepal. Happy-go-lucky by nature, he is very popular with our past clients.
Anup Gurung
Guide and climbing Sherpa
An Everest summiteer, trekking guide and climbing Sherpa with about 10 to 12 years of experience in trekking and mountaineering. His achievements include climbing Mount Everest and Manaslu (8,163m). Peaks above 7,000m he has climbed: Pumori, Tilicho, Baruntse, Himlung, Kangaru and Api Himal. Peaks above 6,000m: Mera, Lobuche, Island, Phoksarma, Pisang, Chulu Far East, Chulu East and West, Thorang and Dhampus Peak. He has completed basic, advanced, high-altitude rescue and Liaison Officer mountaineering courses, and has very good knowledge of all aspects of mountaineering expeditions.

Senior guide and climbing Sherpa
A senior trekking guide and climbing Sherpa with 25 to 26 years of experience in trekking and mountaineering. Peaks above 7,000m he has climbed: Pumori, Tilicho, Baruntse, Himlung, Kangaru, Ama Dablam and Api Himal. Peaks above 6,000m: Mera, Lobuche, Island, Phoksarma, Pisang, Chulu Far East, Chulu East and West, Thorang and Dhampus Peak. He is the most senior trekking guide and climbing Sherpa at Golden Nepal Trek & Expedition, with technical knowledge of almost every aspect of our mountaineering services.
Mingma Sherpa
Senior cook
Mingma has about 30 to 32 years of experience as a cook with different trekking companies. He has trekked in almost all parts of Nepal and Tibet, including remote areas, and has handled large groups of 90 to 100 trekkers at a time. He cooks Indian, continental, Chinese, Nepali, Korean and Japanese meals, and is the most senior cook at Golden Nepal Trek & Expedition.
Bikash Khadka
Trekking and tour guide, tour adviser
Bikash has worked as a trekking and tour guide with Golden Nepal Trek for 7 to 8 years. He speaks English, German and French and holds a government trekking and tour guide licence (no. 7457). He is also a German-speaking tour adviser who designs tour offers and recommends them to travellers. Friendly, knowledgeable and an enthusiast for Nepal's tourism, he believes tourism is the best economic source for Nepal and can lift its youth and the country.
